Thai Massage, Yin and Restorative Yoga Immersion Wednesday Evenings in May | 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM The Evolution of Your Practice In a world that is increasingly "touch-starved" yet hyper-sensitive to boundaries, how do we offer physical support that feels truly nourishing and safe? Whether you are a Yoga teacher, a massage therapist, or a dedicated practitioner, this immersion is designed to bridge the gap between manual therapy and nervous system regulation. You won’t just learn how to move bodies; you will learn how to listen to them. Assisted stretching rooted in the ancient tradition of Thai Yoga Massage, trauma informed practice, cueing and body reading and so much more. Come be part of a community learning and caring together. What You’ll Discover Over five transformative Wednesday nights, we will dive into the intersection of stillness and movement: Trauma-Informed Foundations: Learn to read the body’s "no" before it’s spoken. Master the art of consent, energetic boundaries, and creating a container of absolute safety. Thai Massage Techniques: Incorporate rhythmic compression, passive stretching, and "Lazy Man’s Yoga" into your existing offerings. Restorative & Yin Integration: Learn where and how to apply manual pressure during long-held postures to deepen the parasympathetic response. The Anatomy of Release: Targeted work on the "stress centers"—the hips, psoas, shoulders, and neck.

Bloom: Thai Herbal Arts & Ceremonial Medicine
May 23rd 10am-6pm A one-day immersion in ancient healing practices for the modern woman and the practitioners who serve her. There’s a kind of medicine that doesn’t come in a bottle. It comes from your hands. From heat. From plants. From ceremony. It lives in the traditions of Thai healers who packed river herbs into cloth and pressed them into tired, aching bodies. In Ayurvedic women’s wisdom that knew — long before modern medicine caught up — that a woman’s body is cyclical, sacred, and deeply deserving of tending.Bloom is a one-day immersion into that medicine. We’re going to get our hands into herbs. We’re going to make our own herbal compresses together — a practice called Luk Pra Kob in Thailand — and then we’re going to learn how to use them. We’re going to create a ceremonial bath and understand why steam and herbs and warm water have been women’s medicine across cultures and centuries. We’re going to brew teas that support the womb, the hormones, the nervous system. And we’ll hold space for whatever needs to soften and release — because that’s what happens when women gather with this kind of medicine. Sometimes there are tears. That’s the healing doing its work. This is for the massage therapist who wants to offer something deeper. For the yoga teacher or Ayurvedic practitioner looking to expand her toolkit. For the healthcare provider ready to integrate ancient wisdom into the work she already loves. And yes — for the woman who just needs a day of this for herself and wants to learn how to bring it home. You’ll leave with your hands full and your heart a little more open.

A genuine 5 stars. Jeanette, I happened to meet by chance on Google. I took her class, Thai Yoga Massage level 1..I literally reflect on my experience probably twice a week. She is authentically gifted, enlightened with complete modesty and a true teacher who practices what she preaches. She's intelligent on many levels, not just intellectual/educational but emotionally & spiritually. I can't think of a better teacher for this course. I just can't. If you're considering working with her..DO IT. These reviews come from the heart.

Jeanette is a wonderful teacher, mentor, and friend. We met a few years ago and the breadth and depth of her knowledge always leaves me in awe. She knows so much about how the body works and best practices to help us heal holistically--both for her clients and to other yoga / wellness professionals she mentors. She also has a very kind, open heart and soothing voice that puts everyone around her at ease. I feel very lucky to know her and continue to learn from her, she's the best.

Jeanette has been a Massage Therapist since 2009 and at the invitation of her teacher, began teaching massage in 2014. With nearly three decades in healthcare management and quality of life along with a deep understanding of Yoga Therapy, Ayurveda, and trauma-informed care, she carries both the technical skill and the heart of a true healer.
Her work is rooted in the belief that touch is sacred - an art that restores balance, regulates the nervous system, and invites people home to themselves. Jeanette has guided hundreds of students and practitioners in learning to listen with their hands, honor consent, and create sessions that truly heal.
As the founder of Sanctuary by the Sea in Point Pleasant, NJ, she has created a refuge for bodyworkers, Yoga therapists, healthcare providers, and community members to gather, learn, and heal. Her teaching blends the ancient traditions of Thai massage, Marma therapy, and Ayurveda with modern understanding of anatomy, neuroscience, and trauma recovery.
Jeanette’s classes are more than trainings - they are rituals of remembrance, a chance to study the body as sacred ground and to offer touch that changes lives.
